I just had a thought that relates to something you mentioned at the last meet: when it's *really* cold (windy?) or raining, what if we were to meet at the bottom level of the underground parking structure at the Westside Pavilion mall on Pico (southwest corner of the intersection at Pico and Westwood Blvds below the Landmark Theaters)? We would need to keep it *very* low key or security would move us on, but that might be a doable alternate spot in inclimate weather. First three hours of parking are free (five hours with validation from the theater or Westside Tavern). And those who are up for it could easily meet early for dinner at Westside Tavern which has some really yummy food!
