So after seeing so many S2ks on the road, without knowing them here, I decided to stop by one to say Hi. I pulled up next to him, honked my horn and waved. The guy looked at me so confused...I drove away.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. It's not even difficult to wave back, but I guess they are "too good" to wave back to a fellow s2ker. Also that guy was probably jealous of your CR.

Sometimes people's minds are elsewhere and a wave from a complete stranger is the last thing they are expecting. Exactly how destracted they are will determine how quickly they can figure out why you are waving and then respond.
I'm convinced there are times when I'm on the road and I really have no business driving because my mind is on <insert list of things that happen in everyone's lives at some point: work issues, relationship issues, health issues, money issues, surviving Thanksgiving with family, where the hell is the GPS sending me anyway?, etc...> and I seriously ought to get back with the program of focusing on the road.

I have this marked on my calendar so I hope I can make it. Haven't been to a meet in a long time (haven't really driven my car in a long time)!
