I just got back from Gyu-Kaku!! I'm so full. I got to drive my sister's 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder...omg such a fast car haha
They put the Cayman S in the Boxster Spyder and raised the power and raised the redline. They widened the powerband which is very noticeable. You can't really compare the two cars due to the price difference but after reading a lot it is very quick around the track. From what I read it is only 1 second or 2 slower than a GT3 on certain well-known tracks which is a testament to the Boxster/Cayman chassis.

Nice! Thanks for the info/comparison. The only thing that bothers me on the Boxster spyder is the top. It seems like such a pain to deal with (as seen on top gear). I read somewhere in car talk that the new 991 Carrera S is faster then the 997.2 GT3 around the ring. I can only imagine how crazy fast the new gt3 will be. I also appreciate how they are one of very few sports car companies that are still providing manual transmission cars.
