All cars are welcomed at the WEST LA Meet!

I dropped in at 8:10 and there were no s2000s around (i checked all the levels). Parked my Yaris and went to get something to eat. Back at my car at about 8:40, still no S2000s (and I checked other floors in the structure again).
The ground level and one floor up seem to be too full to allow for much of a gathering. The basement level though is great. Ramps might be a pain for some lowered cars though.
One of these days we should try the Ugly Roll Sushi place over at Palms and Sepulveda. The lot just beyond the Wells Fargo is big, empty and close enough to be in view of the cars even from in the sushi place so we can easily find each other. Yet it's far enough off the street it shouldn't attract random yahoos. And there are no security guards to hassle a gathering there.
Just a thought for future consideration.

I cruised by the Starbucks on my way home from work and saw a bunch of guys standing at the corner. I assume that was you guys. I was in the GPW with OEM top.
Should have stopped by.

The security guy is just doing his job. They have had problems there in the past. I'm pretty sure the reason the OP bumped the start time to 8pm was too avoid issues with security. Thet *have* to kick us out if there are no open stores for us to patronize (Starbucks closes at 10pm, Marshalls at 9:30, and all other stores are the same or earlier). If the cars are there much after closing, then they can have them towed. So basically, if we don't arrive until 9 or 9:30, and we have to leave at 10pm, that makes for a very short meet. :-(

If some of you may have noticed, as we were leaving and while driving on the freeway my buddy was recording video of us. He's putting together a nice little S2K video for us. He'll be going to a lot more meets and cruises to get a ton more footage. So if anyone is against having their car in the video let me know and I'll make sure it's edited out before production is complete. And if anyone wants some extra "Me" time let me know and we can set up a shoot.
In the end, the video will come out looking like this if not better except with S2K's.

Hey sorry for the security being ass holes. I moved the time up to try to avoid that issue. I'll change the location for the next meet to where RMurphy has suggested. The only issue, though, is that it will be the same day as 4th of July. We might have to meet the following week.

Welcome to LA. The WLA meets happen the first Wednesday of every month (The information is posted on the first page, and updated for each meet). The whole group is awesome. They are all good people. You should definitely attend when you can.
