Got 11K and going strong! Make sure you rev-match also, or else something might fall off.

how did ur crankshaft get loose?? what type of buzzin?? was it loud and noticeable? i dont think my crankshaft is loose.. but i know my clutch is.. its not as responsive as before when i step on my gas pedal.. and i have to step a lot into the gas before my first gear will engage at all... i'm just hopin that my crankshaft isnt damaged

Im pretty sure your crankshaft is fine. The buzzing sound I heard sounded like an exhaust leak but it turned out to be the flywheel loosening which caused the crankshaft to be damage. The area damage on the crankshaft was where the crank connects to the flywheel/clutch assembly so as I safety precaution they are giving me a new crankshaft.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck man. I just had to have my 04 clutch replaced at 12k miles. For some odd reason my honda dealership covered it under warrenty saying that 3 out of the 4 springs on the clutch were loose from the factory. This was done like 2 weeks ago and I have been driving really carefully to break it back in. Well I got on it like 3 times today and now the damn thing feels like what it did when I took it in for the replacement. So now I am thinking that they didnt replace it and maybe just tightened it up so I am way pissed. But I called them today and they said it has a 30 day warrenty so if something is wrong they have to fix it. I guess I should of asked to see the old part originally. OH well anyways good luck.

Damn alot of 04's are having clutch problems. Its either none of us can drive or its a factory problem. But considering it has happen more than once it seems like factory error.

well.. i bought my new clutch today.. i bought the exedy hyper single.. thing is god damn exspensive.. but its cool.. i'm pretty sure once i get it in.. i'll be happy..

just one thing i'm unsure of.. they gave me the ap1 package.. i asked the ppl at the store.. if it will fit.. they called the daikan factory... and they said that it will work.. as long as its a "pull clutch" if anyone knows what that means..

another thing is.. i called several honda dealerships.. to match part #'s.. and the clutch for the 00-04's part #'s are all the same.. so i'm assumin that the clutch design is all the same.. can anyone verify??

thanks
