Aftermarket Clutch For 04
well.. like the title says.. aftermarket clutch for an 04..
i've been recently lookin for a clutch.. and couldnt come to a conclusion.. my S has been sittin in my garage for almost about.. 2 - 3 wks now.. and i need a clutch.. honda wont take care of it.. so i'm gonna have to do it myself.. and i need help..
i couldnt find an aftermarket clutch.. for my car.. all the clutches that i found.. only go up for 03's.. and no 04's.. my question now is.. if i get one that says.. 02-03.. and put it in my car.. will it work? are there any aftermarket clutch for an 04 out yet?? if there is.. which ones??
i want something aggressive.. and also a reputable shop to take it to.. to get the work done..
if anyone has suggestions.. i would love them right now.. i want to get my S back on the road.. thanks in advance..

btw.. i want all the goodies.. flywheel.. pressure plate.. clutch.. EVERYRTHING!

Damn, where the hell have you been And what the hell did you do to your car And why won't Honda cover it?
yea.. ive been researching.. only 1 company makes aftermarket clutches for the 04.. and its exedy.. they are runnin around 1200-1400 just for setup.. but not includin install
honda wont cover it cause they said its normal wear just like brakes... so its not warranty.. so they said i have to take care of it myself

lol, look in UTH. i posted this also. my 04 has 7700 miles. and the clutch is wasted. will not hold the power at all. as far as ive been told the PP and disk are the same. so im gonna call honda tomorrow and verify pt numers. if so, i have a sweet clutch setup that im gonna use. i wanna go exedy also, but ive heard from a few, that its a bit harsh to drive in traffic. all i want is holding power, doesnt need to break my neck on engagement. im gonna run a stage 2 from clutch specialties. and use my stock flywheel. if anyone is interested, call and ask for brian at clutch specialties. tell em dave from vegas sent ya, off of s2ki. anyways, all of us need to ask ourselves, is the delay slave the problem, 04 clutches are going fast, and im to believe that that delay is a bit to slow. it saves rear ends, but at what cost, extra disk wear, so you have the trans out every 5k miles? it might have to go.

My car made this loud buzzing sound like the flywheel was loose around the 3-4k rpm range. Turns out my crankshaft got damaged in the process. I wish I could get an aftermarket clutch upgrade but the dealer is covering my car under warranty and they refuse to put comptech parts on the car stating the warranty will not cover it.
