Default Advice on where to go for a May trip

Hey everyone,

I have decided that I need a vacation. I am going to e going with my g/f and a buddy of mine will be tagging along.

I have been thinking of going to Hawaii, and though it is doable, it will cost around $1200 per person when it is all said and done.

Though it is still an option, I wanted to know of anywhere else you all could recommend me.

I prefer somewhere warm, so that I can enjoy the beach....

I am also open to cruises, any good good recommendations?

Thanks,

Alex

Puerto Vallarta - I looked into investing into a firesale of a hotel there recently for my company and got a good sense of the community and resort. Has to be one of the places I would visit on a budget. May would be the last month of best times to go.

Hawaii is nice too.

GL, and have fun!!!

Croatia. Dunno how the prices are for tickets but it should be off season so

One of the most beautiful places I've been. Way outta the norm too.

I'm becoming like BC posting pics with everything lol.

Costa Rica.

If you are adventurous, you only need to pay for car rental (split 3 ways). Just drive around the country and camp! Or you can stay in cheap places by the beach - no need for extravagant hotels.

You can also camp some nights and stay in cheap hotels other nights. Lots of things to see / do. Even better if you surf or want to learn how (although paying / staying at a surf camp will be more $$).

Plane tix are in the $400-$500 range. But everything else there is CHEAP and the water is WARM. You can play on the Pacific side or on the Caribbean side too!

Banff, Whistler (both might be too cold). I'm planning to head over to Sequioa for hiking/climbing. Yosemite would be fun. You could do Vegas, shows and all with $1k for local stuff. I just some some sales in the LA times sunday for hawaii on the cheap (less than $800 pp incl. airfare for 5 days). Mexico should be pretty cheap too....
