Default Advice Please

Im just curious as to how much it would cost if i wanted to get a s2k but this is my plan. I wanted to get a really really salvage s2k with a nice exterior and ill just get an engine to swap into it? how much would this set me back but please dont flame because it's just a crazy idea i have. so please let me as to how much it would cost for an engine and the car?

You're better off looking for an early model (2000-2001) with high mileage. I think they've gone as low as about $16k around here.

The good news is it's a Honda, so it should be good for a couple hundred thousand miles, assuming the previous owner took good care of it. Do your research and be patient. You'll find one for mid teens with a clean title.

maybe he's looking to track the car and he just need the chasis and drivetrain.
but if you're getting it to drive around then i agree wihe nate, just buy one with high miles on it.

Even as a track car, it won't perform under those conditions. It might even be dangerous.

Best would be a SUPER high milages, theft recovery.
