4.44 gear swap
Several of you have done this. Need help on finding a good installer for the 4.44 gear swap in Southern California...anywhere between LA and San Diego would work.
Any recommendations? (PM is okay).

I would talk to Vapors2k. I know he has swapped his gears out both for 4.44 and then 4.77 and his installer has done a few other s2k's I belive.

my friend that works at Autolink in Temple City has done the gear swap for the s2000 now.
his name is Chris Chao and the stores number is 626-279-7122. he also recommends that if you get the Ricks gears to get the oem install kit. it helps make the install quicker and smoother.

I would have Ardy's mechanic do it. Ardy's sn is Vapors2k. I just had my 4.44 gears and yellow box installed by them and they did a very good job. Only took them about one day for install.
