Default 2014 Eibach Honda Meet 10th Anniversary

It's that time again so just throwing this out there:

Sunday May 4th at Storm Stadium in Lake Elsinore

https://www.facebook.com/events/340943796044404/

It's hard to believe this event, which is now one of the largest events on the West Coast, started in the Eibach Springs parking lot with about 50 vehicles nearly 10 years ago. Time certainly does fly. On behalf of Eibach Springs, Matt and I, thank you, Honda Enthusiasts, for making a 10th year possible and I look forward to posting something like this in another 10 years. Again, thank you so much.

Once again, to accommodate more vehicles, more vendors, and more visitors, this year’s event will be held at Storm Stadium in the city of Lake Elsinore. A massive parking lot will play host to the Honda-only event, and offer three times the amount of space as compared to the previous events

Registration

As with previous Eibach meets, a pre-registration process will allow for quicker roll-in times and parking analysis prior to the big day. We accept PayPal to reserve your spot at the event. Keep in mind; if you’re paying for someone else, we’ll need his or her first and last name, as well as a CURRENT MAILING ADDRESS SO TICKETS CAN BE MAILED TO YOU. Registration is $45 and this includes a pass for you, and one passenger. If you are paying for multiple vehicles, we need their drivers FULL NAMES too. To register, simply Paypal $45 to rhoegner@eibach.com. Be sure to include your full name and address. We do not need your passengers info. If you are paying for multiple people, as stated above, we need their full names, too. Once you've paid we'll simply reply with "thank you". More information will be emailed to you a couple weeks prior o the event.

Spectators:

Entry fee: $5 per person (children under 5 are free). Pay at the gate the day of the event.

Parking: $10 per vehicle – outside of the event in a secure lot.

Vendors/sponsors

If you are interested in becoming a vendor or sponsoring the event, please send an email to rhoegner@eibach.com

It's no longer at Eibach...this ALL-Honda meet outgrew that location a few years ago.

I'm always a bit iffy about taking my s2000 to a all Honda meet and/or large events. Some of the undesirable ones are there with different agendas. I'll just take a hybrid instead, puts my mind at ease.

just take off your plate when you get there if youre that paranoid. it's a very controlled location (assuming you register and are not just spectating)

Some advice for everyone.

Bring sunscreen! alot of it!

Pros: alot of great cars, really huge turnout if you are looking for exposure.

Cons: Idiots revving on the property lot, idiots racing in front of the venue, the amount of stupid acts performed by the spectators for hope of somehow receiving attention is staggering. Last is traffic getting home.

My recommendation is to map the area and take as much local streets as you can as every single person there is going to try to get on the fwy.
