the word of the year goes to "unfriend." as in to take people off your friend list in sites such as facebook, myspace, etc. (btw, remember friendster? i feel like everything is just another version of friendster) i guess it is fitting because it's all the rage now with those sites.

-some other words that made it:
-intexticated (texting while driving)
-sexting (sending sexually explicit SMS or pics using cell)
-freemium (business model in which some basic services are provided for free)
-funemployed (referring to people taking advantage of newly unemployed status to have fun or pursue other interests)
-choice mom (person who chooses to be a single mother) - i call this the fuglies...
-deleb (dead celebrity) - many of those this year
-tramp stamp (referring to tattoo on lower back, usually on a woman) - personal fav
