101 octane at gas station on Arroyo in Pasadena
I was filling up the grocery getter at the 76 (<-I think it was a 76) when I went to select the gas grade I noticed a red selection of 101 octane.
This was the gas station on Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena right before the 110 starts.
It was listed at $8.97 per gallon.
Just thought I would share.

no. if you are thinking because its hot out and you are running hard and might create knock, then it still wont help. s2k's have a knock sensor and the ecu retards timing when it detects knock. it really does nothing to put in higher octane unless you are FI and tuned for it.

Wouldn't you have less chance of knock with the higher octane fuel, therefore no knock to sense, therefore no retarded timing? Retarded timing makes for less performance, yes.

You won't gain much power but it will increase your knockthreshold
Anyway I was just pointing this 101 pump gas out and can't remember seeing it from a pump.
Last time I saw 101 was from a race shop we would stop at on our way to Terminal Island, but that came in jugs.

And none of you N/A will benefit a bit from over 93 octane. Pointless.
