Default 1 Year Anniversary

whats up everyone. so i am coming up on my one year anniversary with my girlfriend and am looking for something interesting to do for dinner and after (keep it clean ) The date is september 8th which is a saturday. she will be at work untill 6pm and I will be at the homecoming meet untill she is off work. so i am looking for something fun to do for the night.

i am no baller, so for dinner recomendations its going to need to be under $150. i was looking at maybe a murder mystery dinner?? something like this: Gourmet Detective. Has anyone been to this or what other suggestions does everyone have? oh and i live in orange county so preferably someplace in the OC.

thanks,
brian

I've been to Gourmet Detective, and actually know one of the main
actors. They put on a great show, and the food is pretty good
(not fantastic). I would recommend it as a unique date experience

Somehow though, for the one year thing... I'd do a little more. Plus,
it's such nice weather now--something outdoors would be nice...
What about dinner over the beach at some place like Las Brisas in
Laguna Beach? Walk along the shore after dinner as the sun
disappears below the horizon.

It's more work, but another thing you can do is set up a "fancy"
picnic in the park; bring card table, linens, folding chairs, vase
with flowers, and some good food you made.
(I did this once, and it worked great--she said 'yes'.)

Have fun!

That's some nice stuff right there, KUDOS!

For our one year, I took her to big bear for the night. We stayed at a special resort/ hotel up there. Had dinner at a nice Italian restaurant a block away from the place and took a nice walk along the shore of the lake I still remember it like it was yesterday. That was also the night I knocked her up I think we did all of that and got away with spending less then $400....Nice mini vacation, and it was VERY Memorable Good luck bro

If you want to earn her respect, then tell her you're celebrating by going for a drive in the S to pick up a sixpack of Molson and she can come along if she wants.
