sup there S owners... It was great meeting you guys on Friday for the caravan up to Vegas (IP G sporting bronze CE28N). Thanks for making me feel at home, even though this was the first time meeting you. It was also fun hangin and drinkin with all you guys on Saturday night.. You guys are FUN to be with!!
Also,
Aaron - Thanks for taking me on the track ride. you're a crazy (but very-very goooood) driver especially since you were basically sitting in the back seat of that miata and boxster..
Kelvin - I wanna see the pics you took with your "L" lens.. im jealous, and will probably have to pick one up before the next track event.. Does anybody have any hook-ups from Canon camera division..???
Mike - I hope you're feeling better after Saturday night.. I hope it wasn't too bad the next morning.. Also, when are you going to pick up a set of CE28N's for your ride.. I wanna see pics when you put them on..
Jay - It was great meeting you and your wifey at In-n-Out.. At the next track event, I'll follow you, so I can lower my lap times. The other guys are just too extreme for me right now. Were you able to get your lap times down to the 3:30 mark?
anyway, im looking forward to future events (track and others) with you guys.. Thank you again for making feel at home!!
Michael

It's called the "Go Fast Crack-Pipe" (coined by Doug Hayashi, one of the original S2000 trackers)
As addicting (or maybe even more so) than crack
Thanks agian for the driving advice, Richard

this 2nd ever track day for me was an absolutely awesome experience! took a lot of effort for me to get out there but it was definitely worth every minute! the weather was beautiful & the S performed amazingly. i'm in love with pahrump. all those crazy turns made it quite a thrill ride! i have never cornered the S that hard my whole life and yet able to keep it so well under control (yes i know that's hard to believe). after the 2nd session, i felt completely at home and comfortable with the track layout. After riding in the faster s2000s, i realized how much of a difference having R-compounds & racing brakes can make a world of difference! I was able to finished the day off with a 3:29:xx. Kind of wish I went back on Sunday too. so when are we going back to the next one guys?

My weekend went a little differently, but probably cost just as much.
Friday night - Van "the Man" Morrison live @ Hollywood Bowl: $500 (tix, parking, food)
Saturday - Long Beach Aquarium on Earth Day, incl. stuffed lion, tiger, and a LIVE bald eagle: $30 (food, parking)
Sunday - Dodgers, baby, Dodgers! They took it to Kemp and the D-backs. $130
Watching your 2-year old charm everybody in the section by shouting "Go, Dodgers, go!!" at the top of his lungs: Priceless.
Anyway, nice lap times, everybody! Don't worry about catching Richard -- it's all about improving from one session to the next, and from one day to the next. Great to see so many new folks using the S as intended.

Raymund got down to 3:10.xxx and Nimbus to 3:11.xxx, so it was closer. Seeing Nimbus make an amazing recovery from a slide in a high-speed sweeper (turn 19, old t8) made me realize that I don't have the fast reflexes of you young drivers, so I have to depend on slow, smooth hands (... plus suspension, wing, and secret DIY alignment ).

I was thinking I wasn't doing too bad only being a second slower than Nimbus on saturday. I wish he had a passenger seat so I could've gotten a ride-along.
