Default Wheel Fitment...

There are lots of threads on the forum on what fits, doesn't rub and what is right for our cars. Some people are able to stuff wide tires and agressive offsets under our fenders with others who aren't as aggressive are rubbing.

Just wondering what our local group is running and what you've been able to fit under the fenders.

I'm lowered pretty low and it doesn't look like my wheels will fit properly. I'm thinking I might either have to roll the fenders, go with a more agressive camber, raise the car some, or go with thinner tires (maybe 215 and 245 in the rear). But I know others who do run my setup or similar with no problems.

My setup:

FRONTS: 18x7.5 +49 225/40/18
REARS: 18x9 +55 255/35/18

Lowered on Ground-Controls with Koni's.

Rub-a-dub-dub... no one else have 18's or agressive offsets and have had to adjust alignment... or roll fenders...

I raised it up a little but its still rubbing. If I can sell my S03's, I'm going to go with 215/245 setup. Next will probably be rolling fenders. Any recommendations on who can roll fenders? SMA charges $79/wheel. Midnight performance charges $80/wheel. I'm not sure if I can trust them... any experience with either?

As for camber, I'm probably running 2-2.5 degrees in the front and still rubbing. The rear only rubs on hard compression, its cambered at probably 2.5-3.5. (These are unofficial measurements but its definetly cambered). Once I get the suspension where I think I know I can keep it, I'll go in for an official alignment.

Thanks for the replies!

If you find a good shop to roll the fenders let me know. I'm running 17x9 +63 w/ 275/40 michelins, rubs rarely, but wouldn't mine rolling the fenders
