Though I was kinda planning on getting a Recaro PP seat eventually...
I don't blame you ...
When my S2k replacement arrives the first thing I'm going to do is change the driver seat to a non-leather seat that makes my a$s/back feel like i'm sitting in a car instead of a park bench.

Todd you can get the low seat rail bracket thingie like CASTRO. You can keep your stock seat. IIRC it just lowers the bottom half. Ask castro for details

BYS lowered seat rail ftw! drops the bottom part of the seat and actually provides better lumbar support. Had it in the car after 2 months of ownership. Stock seat was killing my back after a trip to/from Socal

When I got my S in '01 I spent two months or so wondering "WTF have I done?" I loved the car but the seat was killing my lower back. About 3 months in to ownership it just stopped. I ended up finding them rather comfortable.

I'm not sure I like changing the sightlines out of the car unless I have a really good reason. Accomodating NCRC probably isn't good enough for me. Maybe if it meant the difference between on track and not then I would consider it but I don't think that is the case here.

I'm sure Honda engineers spent more than a little time placing the seat in an optimum position for the driver. I don't want to start changing things like that. Maybe it's no big deal in the grand scheme of things... but maybe it is.

Just my .02 ...
