Good to hear I have another option for pads.
The pro driver, Robbie Montinola, never once complained about the brakes after any of the sessions.

[QUOTE=AyJay,Sep 24 2009, 03:42 PM] Oh yea... I know you told me before but I forgot.
Was the pad u disintegrated a new pad or had you run previous days on it?

I don't know if you recall... but that DSport S2k challenge I went to down at Willow Springs featured a handful of tuned, S/C'd, S2ks wearing Nitto NT 05s with a pro driver going balls to the wall for many laps. Each car there was fitted EBC Yellow Stuff Pads.

I had run it for two previous track days plus some AutoX and of 6 months off and on street usage. The other front pad still had ~30% left after the third track day.
I don't see the EBCs lasting much longer than that either.

FWIW, for daily use, I got another set of 4RS pads for the front, I just plan on swapping out the front pads for the 4R pads real quick in a week or two before the track day, even though the heat hopefully won't be anywhere what it was that day in July.
Also, I'll be curious to see the effect the R4 pads have on your rotors. Abrasive pads are obviously going to eat thru rotors faster.
Thanks for being our Ginea pig

I'll be interested to see how streetable the R4 is. If you are going to change them the week before and then drive em to the track you might have a squeal fest on ur hands. Not that u can't just ignore it for a week until you swap back.

As for being a guinea pig - I quite enjoy it!
