Dirt cheap, but you can't see what your hands are doing or where your head is facing.

Very true - but you can't do that with the GoPro that I was considering either. Maybe I could though - I could always fold down the wind deflector and mount it there since it uses a suction cup to get more of a view.

Pretty much anything I could do with the $199 GoPro I could do with this mount for only $18 and get 8MP picture quality with image stabilization that looks pretty good to me.

That's why the Modify wind screen mount is soo popular.

Yeah - I'll attach it to my window and see how the shakes are with the cheap mount. If it's too shaky, I'll try Modifry.

I also have the Rick's mount, but doesn't look like you can buy that one anymore. It more sturdy then the Modifry, but not as convenient.

I think that suction cup mount is too large to fit on your wind defector man. Unless you have rick's large wind defector.

Luckily the suction cup on the Panasonic will fit on the deflector.

Not sure how much it'll bounce around after being mounted on top though...

Ah - I'll give this one out a shot for a while then try the Modifry if the Panny is no bueno.

[QUOTE=Sdracing,Jun 18 2009, 01:46 PM] I used a quick release ($8) and secured it to top of the center counsel (secret compartment lid). I removed the wind screen.

In any event, on the track it bounced around quite a bit.
