Default S2000 front sway bar

Hi, All.Went over to 949 racing forum to research a good front sway bar for are s2000 but got mixed answers. Such as CT sway bar largely not available and da draw backs to both the Grendon and Saner. So, going to ask u guys.Who's running what front sway bar and who is happy with the results? Let me know. Also,I'm running Tein mono-flex coilovers and I understand there can be some clearance issues involved with after market shocks.Thanx. Should also note that I am running 225F 245R.On my ap1.

really, i think you should be all good unless you are getting a lot of oversteer and/or bodyroll. The consensus is to stiffen up damping or preload your springs more before touching bars. Usually a fatter front bar is used when you are getting inside rear tire lift on hard corners. Since you have an aftermarket tight LSD it shouldnt matter as you can control the rear end as you like.

IMO if you were gonna get a front bar, get one from an early 00 or better yet a CR front bar. One of the best and also OEM so its cheap. keep the rear bar same since you have an MY01.

Lastly a front bar such as the thick comptech, gendron or saner is only really used if you are using massive rubber up front. If not, it could cause understeer. Thats the reason why people go nonstag and run 245 or 255 front tires.

You sure you have MONO flex? They did not come out till relatively recently. If this was for the show car then chances are they are the regular FLEX.

Thanks for the info guys One less thing to buy In the FAQ at 949 racing they talk about sw/bars in one sect. -tires in another but didn't say "when" they recommend a sway bar.And the testimonials where a collection of emphatic Yeas and Nays. The nays have it Oh, Andy, they must be Tien Flex then, the memory fails

I say drive the car and figure out what you prefer as far as driving feel... Oversteer or understeer. Then figure it out from there.
