I like the exhaust, but you need to take off the silencers, you are losing about 7-10 HP, and losing 2-3 miles per gallon. Are the rotors from DUC, I got the same ones when I went to L.A. for $125 a piece without shipping because I was there, he even installed them for free. Also, Brake lines, Sweet. I like your taste, I did the same thing.

Ron,
I agree with you on the assessment of the silencers and if the car wasn't my wife's daily driver we would definitely have them out. Unfortunately they are a little too loud for her taste, and you have to crank the stereo up pretty loud to get over the droning at lower RPM .
I know you have been pretty busy getting your restaurant started-up, but I can't wait to see your car at one of the meets. I want to talk to you about your mods, the dyno numbers were incredible great job!

You think it's loud without the silencers, HA! one day, we could maybe test out your car with the straight pipe. It is only 6 bolts, and only takes about 10 minutes to swap. Do you notice that the exhaust is very loud below VTEC, but once you hit VTEC, it suddenly quiets down? It double how loud it is with the straight pipe.

Yes, it's pretty loud up to around 5,000/5,500 RPM, and then it quiets down to a nice purrrrrrr! My son loves the sound without the silencers, and he's always begging me to take them out!
We recently took the silencers out on a Yosemite run, and drove the car through a 1 mile tunnel and kept the car in Vtec. The sound was so cool, kinda like the start at the Indy 500. When I reached the end of the tunnel, I felt like a kid screaming "again, again!" LOL
