Night Drive
Cindy and I are doing a night drive tonight up in the mountains on back roads. Take off about 9pm and get back home around 3:30am, we like our night drives- No Traffic, No People on Bikes just deer, bears and other things that go bump in the night. It's fun to just park your car in the middle of the road, turn everything off and listen to all the sounds out in the woods(gets a little spooky after a while). Here is map of the route that we're taking.

We are going to the BIG S2000 meet in S.F. on Sunday so we are doing something this weekend to.
Last Tuesday we took Hwy 88 to 89 over to Lake Tahoe for lunch and made our way back home on some fun back roads.

Got home at 4:06am(254 miles) saw a lot of deer(over 20) but didn't see any bear. It was a perfect night for a drive, the temps were up and down all night long. We had a low of 52 and a high of 86 as we left Sac. but the temp was still 78 at 3:30am just to the east of Placerville on Hwy 50. If you head up to Tahoe at night(or day) stop here and take a pic or two.

Oh by the way, that is the old Hwy before they made Hwy 50. I bet that was fun without power disk brakes.
