3-2 shift. well in most cases you could catch it and pull it out of gear... well as most of you know i speed/power shift. so my gas pedal is floored til im done... so once you shift, theres no turning back.

I don't even know what a power shift is. Sounds like a 70s automatic from a Caddy. Something like "power glide" or..."ultra power shift for the ultimate in luxury". Ha H!
I almost did the 5-2 down shift a couple of times on track. Never on an up shift though. A down sift error could not only damage the motor but it will send you spinning putting you are danger of being t-boned or hitting a wall. I always take the time to double shift or be careful with the clutch if it feels funny.
I can tell you... even in most GT cars with sequential gear boxes the driver still lifts in order to shift. and the clutch is always used on down sifts. Mybe thats what we need. To bad they cost more than our cars.
