Default Looking to purchase a new home in Sac

Hey guys, my name is Kevin, and I am from the bay area.

I am planning on buying a house in Sac before the Dec 1st dead line for the tax credit, so I need to be FAST.

Can anyone recommend a GOOD, No BS, fast working realtor?

Heres some information you can tell to your realtor:
Already been pre-qualified from BofA
Looking to purchase ASAP
My minimums are at least 2 bedrooms and at least a one car garage.

I know this might not be too related but what area are you looking for? Some places aren't that great in SACTOWN...

Thats why I want a good realtor. I have about 30 MLS units, and I have no idea which ones are in good neighborhoods, and which ones are in a bad one.

Whoever happens to read this and currently a resident of Sacramento...

How do you like the city? My friend says its a huge city of abseloutely nothing. Yet when I see it to visit my GF who works there, looks like a normal city.

Keep in mind I am coming from the Bay Area.

i like it and I came from San Jose. At first its really calm but you get used to it. Now when i go back to the bay, it feels like everyones constantly trying to one-up each other either in looks or cars LOL

Sac is more diverse and i guess you can say more lax than SoCal or the bay.

I'm a Bay native. It's Okay... You don't get the diversity and late closing places as you do in the Bay. Lot's of places close at 9-10 so yeah night life is kinda boring so to say. It's more kick back.

As far as summers it gets pretty hot 90-100. so you have to have the AC on otherwise you'll be sweating pretty good.

Not many tuning shops up here anymore. Or at least one I could trust. Driving Ambition is like the only shop I'd go to up here now. Don;t get me wrong about other shops but the ones I used to go to are now closed.

Overall SAC is a decent city but kinda lacking in some respects to the bay. I have adjusted living up here but having most of my friends in the bay makes it hard in other ways.

HTH a little

hope this helps, these are some of the areas that i lived in the past 15 years here in sac. if i could afford it or i would pick roseville.

Roseville - cool as town in sac, pretty new, has good schools and its SAFE, for people and cars.

Lincoln - quiet town, new, houses are really affordable, new thunder valley, hoa's are crazy tho. my parents live here and they have a community club house, which is restricted to certain residents, im not quiet sure how they do it but its nice. they always have an event every holiday. too far from everything tho.

I have a friend, whos mom is a really good realtor, shes been a realtor for like 30 yrs. and knows the area. she has helped a few people here on the forums, such as jet and drew. let me know if your interested.

Antelope - where i just got my place, its affordable, decent area to get started. very diverse, some new development around. close to downtown and right next to roseville. but you might want to park your car in the garage. haha

Hows the night life? Hows downtown?

Keep in mind my age, not too interested in their historical sites or museums, so don't bring that up.
