Honda pulling out of F1 :(
I can't believe Honda is pulling out of F1 the chassis for the 2009 season was expected to be very good. That's why they quit developing the 08 chassis & focused on 09.
I guess they are trying to get an investor to take ownership of the team. I don't know why they don't keep it as a Honda Team & get a partner to help with the cost of a F1 team.
This sucks,

I read an article (on autoweek.com, i think) that said Honda was probably only the first manuf. of many to start pulling out of competition.
Expect other manuf. to start pulling out of stuff cuz of the crappy economy.

Yeah, Ferrari is threating to pull out of F1 because stupid ass Bernie Eckelstein granting Cosworth a standardized engine contract for 2010-2012. BE is going to turn F1 into a spec circuit like nascar or Indy. I hope Ferrari & others pull out of F1 & F1 reconsiders the new changes, maybe Honda will come back.
Lots of people are saying that Honda is saying that $ is the main issue, but that the spec engine thing is one of the main reasons among other decisions F1 management has made. Another issue is there being no North American races any longer. North America is one of Honda's main markets.

F1 is disallowing the use of super-green, eco-weenie mobiles.
Since this doesn't fit with the company's current direction, Honda has pulled out of the series.
