Cindy and I got home today from a 3 week, 6300 mile, 11 state drive. I will post the pics when I get them on to Photobucket. We took small back roads when ever we could and some were only one to one and a half lanes wide. We saw some great roads and had a blast driving them. I'm a little tired but I wish we could start a new vacation right now, we just love driving with the top down and seeing all the stuff others miss out on seeing that can't put the top down. We drove to the top of the highest paved road in North America, 14130 ft. If I get to it(lots of roads to mark) I'll post the maps of where we went.

That would be the parking lot pictured below. I became very sick when I climbed this peak many years ago. You must have been there on or before Labor day, as the road closed for the season on 9/3. Colorado is a beautiful state.

Cool trip, Rod!

I took our family on a 5 week, 8200 mile, 22 state trip this summer, but in the truck, pulling our trailer. We went through the South East mostly. What a great country we live in!
