Default Help! Replacing Windshield

wus up guys. Was just wondering if there are any place you recommend on getting my windshield replace. The crack has gotten bad so I want to get it replace. let me know. Thanks.

well... i got mine at www.safelite.com. basically if u order it today online, they will come out tomorrow to whereever the car is and replace the windshield on the spot.

Ask kong too, he's got those PPG glasses, i heard good things about them too.

thanks for the info. It looks like it will be 228.95 for the glass + labor. Then an addition 148.90 for molding and what not. Is that average?

It also say "Front Windshield, Green Tinted Glass"

really, it has a green tinted?

I think Kong had said it was around $350 for the PPG glass and like $600 for the OEM one. Have to check with Kong though.

$148 seems alot for molding, it only cost about $45 for molding on the m3 and the sti

look at the top of your windshield, it should have a shade of tint?

PPG is just the brand of the glass... it is the same thing as OEM... it's just that the manufacturers put their own label on it.. if you look on say, for example, Toyotas, they will have the PPG brand on the window somewhere with Toyota's name on it somewhere also... just the brand of glass.... it beats having to pay more for more for something that has "Honda" on it...
