Help with Espelir ASD - Uneven drop
I have an 05 S2000. I bought a used set of Ap1 shocks and Espelir drop springs to try and see how it handles. They are in good condition, clean, and no leaks. I installed them and preloaded the suspension before tightening everything up. After all 4 coners were done the front has more drop than the rear. The driver side front have a loose 1 1/4 finger gap and the driver side rear have a tight 2 finger gap. Both the driver side front and rear are 3/16" - 1/4" lower than the passenger sides. After driving it for a day, I love the way it handles around corners and the ride is a tad bit stiffer, but both are to my liking. The rears settled down a bit and are even, but the right front is still 1/4" higher than the left. Not sure why this is happening? Could it be that the driver side front shock is near the end of it's life cycle? Or is it because the springs just settled unevenly? I've searched through lots of threads and this seems to be pretty common with drop springs. For those who received a good set, they settled evenly. Has anyone ran into this problem? Do you have any recommendations on a fix?

That is also the case of my cousins ap2. His driver side sits a bit lower than the passenger. He said it was due to the weight of the driver causing that side to sit lower. I dont know if that is true or not.

I'm running Espelirs and have a even drop all around.
Espelirs are supposed to drop the rear of the car lower than the front to make it sit even once its lowered.
the Espelir's set comes w/front and rear springs, they are different not just in the drop they provide butt also spring rates as well, if you mixed the fronts w/the rears and installed them on the wrong sides of the car it's very likely that you will have an uneven drop
I would recomend checking that the fronts and rears are indeed installed on the front/rear respectively

Yes...they are installed correctly. The rear springs have one dead coil at the bottom when you preload it. I guess I'll just have to live with it for now. Getting coilovers later on down the road.
