Not to scare you Falcon, but do keep in mind that every item for an S is around the 1k mark. As you already know, the S is excellent out of the box, just grab some proper street rubber for it.

IMO the best mods for some one on a budget would be like this...
17x9 or 17x9.5 (if you can find them for a good price) & 255/40/17 tires on all 4 corners.
Good lowering springs like Swift.
70mm single exhaust (and 70mm test pipe for events).
K&N FIPK intake, or comparable intake.
That is pretty much all you ever need. Once you want to go faster, save your money for some good coilovers and a high mount wing. That is a sub 2:00min BW car which is impressive by anyones standard.

Yeah, I've noticed that for the most part. It's a go big or go home scenario with this car and what you can put into it. No big deal though, not that I'm a baller or anything, it's just going to be a slower project than I'm used to.
