Just found what I think could be a really good, local machinist!
Dave's Performance Engineering
I spent some time talking to the owner today about my project and got to take a quick tour.. It's small and cramped, but clean and well organized. All the Suunen machines loooked to be well maintained and current, they also have a nice CNC machine too
Check out Dave's car (the shop car)....this thing is beast! It's the first thing you see when you come in.

Anyways.... I'm gonna take my junk down there in the next few days and see what they think.

When it comes to the engine Chris does all the assembly, but Dave Torgrimson of Dave's Performance Engineering in Fresno handles any machine work. Brian Fulton is the cylinder head guru at Dave's and works the required magic on the heads. John's Custom Balancing evens out the rotating assembly and Steve Shaeffer at Silvas Oil Company supplies the fuel to make the engine run.
