This may or may not be of interest to some of you, but several of us in the Miata club are making a morning run to Infineon Raceway this Sunday (May 4th) for the Ferrari Challenge races and activities. Before ya jump on the bandwagon and say ya'll be joining us, know that we are meeting in Winters (Chevron) at 7:45 AM and hitting the road at 8:00 AM. We'll take the Berryessa route at a brisk (but safe) pace.

Bring your lunch and liquids (no alcohol) and $20 per person to get in (pay at the gate). This event includes club races throughout the day, many with VERY expensive and RARE cars. Should be some FXX's and historic F1 cars in the mix as well. Your entry gets you up close and personal with everything, so bring your cameras.

I went on a drive with Ron on the same day as this event last year and we we're followed by a bunch of Ferraris on the same drive. That was fun!

I505 and SR128 in Winters. Take Russell Boulevard west from Davis to Winters and you can't miss it.

What is it about this club? I always get all these posts and PMs saying "I'll be there" but no S2Ks ever show? FWIW we had a great time yesterday. There had to be 200 Ferraris in their corral, and at least 7 lime green GT3rsrs in the Porsche corral. The racing was cool, especially when you see 4-5 GTOs, each worth at least $2MM, all going for the same apex at the same time. These guys have lots of $$$ but more b*lls than brains.
