Anyone down for a little fun? I like running from Nevada City to Downieville in the morning when there isn't much tourist traffic. I don't drive fast just quick. We could meet early AM for breakfast and make it to Downieville for lunch. I don't see any need to caravan or platoon. But folk who like that are more than welcome to pair with like minds. Everyone can just go at a speed they are comfortable with. Closer twisties these days are either saturated with bicyclists, CHP or both. 49 between Nevada City and Downieville is a fun little road. There are a few places where the road is banked caterwonkers for drainage but for the most part the road is smooth and banked well. We can leave by 8 and be back in SAC before 1. Like minds > like cars, I might just take my old porsche rather than put miles on my S.
