RollingAudio does alarms too - give Neil a call for more info - 916.565.0100. I'm currently working on getting a basic alarm installed by Neil at the same time as my stereo. Since the car alarm has the chip in the key to prevent unauthorized starts, I might install a fuel cutoff (just in case) plus maybe hood, window, and motion sensors to prevent basic theft.

Not yet - I think Neil was out today. Still waiting on the alarm quote though we finalized the stereo upgrade quote yesterday. It's almost time to bring in the car and get it installed! Hopefully next week or the week after...

Will do. If I don't hear from him today via email, I'll stop by there before the group drive tomorrow morning and let you know Sat night/Sun morning.

So I was pricing the Viper 5900 + Proximity sensor around town and the cheapest I found was $610 installed @ Audio Express.

Do you guys think its a good deal?
how much do you think Neil charges to install the alarms?

the 5900 retails for about $250-300 online, and the prox sensor is about $50-80
so basically they charge about $300 for the installation
