Default Buttonwillow Monday May 19th **Cancelled **

Ok..so everyone wants plenty of track time right? Well then lets all go on May 19th to Buttonwillow. There is only 2 run groups! Talking about getting your moneys worth...thats 3+hours of track time in an 8 hour day. Your not going to find that good of a deal anywhere else, plus Buttonwillow is the closest track to Fresno and even closer for the Bakersfield peps.

As for all you babies out there worried about their cars. Don't push it. Its not a race. If you can drive to the track, then you should be able to drive home in the same condition. Just come out and have fun and try to improve your ability's at the same time. Just in case anything was to break you got a support team with all the tools and willingness to help you get back on the track as soon as possible

Now I know most of you have Vacation time or at least you could call in sick. Besides there is plenty of time to plan ahead. Move meetings, tell your buddies you wont be at band practice, and if you have to tell your girlfriends / significant others that your going out of town for business. Hell I don't care find your own excuse... lie, cheat, steal Just make it out to the track on Monday May 19th.

I expect to see you photo hounds out there getting some cool shots and honing your camera skills too! If you just so happen to get a pic of me out on track thats cool too

I registered this morning via paypal. Hope to see you there!!!

CVS2KS need to represent!

Please make up your minds and register by this Friday. Remember you can give a $100 deposit and pay the rest next month for us poor folks.

I cant believe you guys are willing to miss this one This really is a great deal! You'll get more track time and there probable wont be much traffic at all. You can even run in both run groups as long as you follow the passing rules.
This is the perfect opportunity to test and tune or just hone your skills. You can come on and off track with out having to worry about waiting till its your run group.

Come on people. I know you have vacation time. If not just call in sick, your still gonna get paid for the day. Whats better than that? A day at the track with... pay

[QUOTE]Fellow track enthusiasts-

In the eleven years that we have organized these private open track driving events, we have never had to cancel. Not once. That is until now. I regret to inform you that our upcoming May 19th event at Buttonwillow Raceway will not take place.

With only 27 drivers registered as of yesterday afternoon, I jumped on the phone in an attempt to increase that number to a bare minimum of 32, just to cover basic costs (track rental, liability, ambulance), figuring we would have volunteers to work the corners, and DNA would cover lunch and drinks. I had some success; with 3 new drivers signed on we were still a
