Default Best place to buy tires in Sacramento area?

I need new front tires for my MY01. I have stock wheels. What is the best place to purchase tires in this area? Also (this is probably an open ended question) but are the Potenza s02s the best tires to buy?

Call around and get prices. and yes the SO-2 is a great tire. dont mix models and brands. and call tirerack also, they have a warehouse in nevada.

I just bought a set of Yokohama's from America's Tires. Don't carry S02's but you might want to checkout there website.

I just replaced my rear s-02's w/ some nitto 555 extreme performance this weekend, and I wish that I would have sprang a couple of more hundred for the Potenza s-02's. The traction is great, but the sidewalls seem a lot less stiff, so the ability to corner at high speeds is diminished. It kinda feels like the suspension is sloppy now, and I don't feel comfy taking corners as fast.

I know what you mean, I had khumos and toyo's and they didn't feel the same. So I went with the Yokahoma's and they feel as good as S02's. But i'm also running on 18's.

Me too, I'm on 255 / 18's on the rear, so the contact patch is big and juicy, but the sidewalls are flexin' like buttcheeks on the squat pot. i used to run the Yoko AVS100's on my AWD Mitsu. Are those what you're running?

yup, 255/35/18 for rears and 225/40/18 for fronts. Got all four for $855 after $25 mail in rebate.

I would also recommend Big O tires at Calvine and 99 if your in the South area or Elk Grove. $15-$20 a tire for mounting and Balancing. I've used them a number of time with no problems and good service.
