Amer are you gonna run race tires too then?
How about stock what PSI do you run then and do measure cold or hot? ANYONE?

I posted in the Racing Forum and they said for AP1 with S02 tires run fronts 36-37 psi hot and rears 33-34 psi hot depending on the track conditions.
You want to increase tire psi to help reduce sidewall flex and body roll. Alignment is another key ingredient for optimal handling.
This is going to be a test & tune type deal for me, know if I need to get a more aggressive alignment done (UK specs) and play with the psi settings (although I don't know how I am going to be able to inflate tires on the track).

My race tires (Kumho V710s, about as sticky as DOT rubber gets) last about 110 runs on the MR2s, which is about 20 events. And even then, it's only the rears that cord. The fronts still have another 8-10 events left in them.
Falken Azenis (both 215 and 615) are not a true race tire and will last even longer.
An S2k will experience somewhat higher tire wear, but 5-6 events out of a set isn't realistic. Maybe you're thinking 5-6 track events? Or of Hoosier A3S04s?

When I first started auto-xing on street tires, I had 36 in fronts and 32 in rears. With tire pressure, it's a matter of playing with the PSI to your liking. You'll learn that most will bring a tire pressure gauge and air tank to the events.

Everyone still in tomorrow? I met with Shawn yesterday and unfortunately, he won't be able to make this event due to work. Because of this, if someone doesn't mind tomorrow, can someone help me haul my 4th wheel? I had planned on using a luggage rack, but it hasn't come in yet.....
Thanks - see you guys tomorrow
