I didn't know there were so many "BUG" owners on this board - I love classic muscle cars but never really understood the old Bug owners mentality...hahaha
I like the chevelle's and studebakers since we used to frequent Route 66 in Chicago in my h.s. days and see those cars drag race all the time.
The bug just doesn't do it for me but guess each person has a preference in cars....!
I started out in the car modding world with a 91 Eclipse GSX, then a 97 Eclipse GS-T so was heavy in the DSM modding world till I got to college where I dipped into a 2000 S4 and a GS400 and finally into my BMW/Honda days now
I have pics of all these rides but like Joey said I don't want to bore you guys...haha

I was never into bugs until I saw what you could do to them for fairly cheap. And in highschool all of us guys on the water polo team.... well, only like five or six of us, had bugs and could work on them and bounce ideas off each other... kinda like s2ki I suppose.
And hell, you can make a 9 second bug.
I'd have done a muscle car if I could afford it, like a GTO or 2x2 fastback or something. But that was wayyy out of my budget
now i have my S to pour money into, and i'm pretty sure the next six months are gonna burn a huge hole in my pocket

my first import was nothing less than the legendary 86' ACURA LEGEND. it still runs. only 1 out of the 4 power windows works, AC is dead, stereo stolen, and has been in 4 minor accidents (pesky poles at the jack in the box drivethru). the odometer stopped working like at 150k miles, i estimate there to be over 300,000+ miles on it.
