Alright,
here we go
My '69 Bug restoration that I did during sophomore to senior year of high school.
The car was 90% brand new by the time I was finished.
Car was completely gutted and rebuilt by me. Everything except the seats was replaced on the interior with all new black everything. All fenders, rims, bumpers were replaced. door windows, windshield, compeletely rewired the whole car. Custom stereo system (alpine deck, infiniti 4.5 in front custom kickpanels, and 6x9 in back tray, 10in bazooka tube behind rear seat (you could always hear me comin down the street, haha)
Custom paint inside and out, and i could go on and on...
The only thing I didn't work on was the motor because at that point (like I said last night at Boba) I decided I had invested too much money and couldn't justify dropping another 2 grand for a brand new motor... I bought my Prelude instead, then my SV650S, then my S2k... ha
ok,
photo time
Here are the before shots... ugly as hell... but, you look past that with rebuilds and find opportunity, right?
the dash was destroyed, the guy was kind of a stoner, so...
Anddddd
2 1/2 years, about $6,000 and lots of sweat and love later...
