Hiking wise, Who's going to hike half dome?
When I did it last year, they only required permits on weekends, so we were lucky to be able to do it without much planning. This year unfortunately a permit is now required to do the cables 7 days a week. I believe you can still hike all the way to the top of sub dome without a permit and hope that someone who is too scared to do the cables up half dome would be willing to give you their permit, but that's a bit of a gamble I guess. There is a website where you can try to get a permit from someone who knows they won't be able to use theirs:

I'd love to do the hike again. The view from the top is insane. Going up and down the cables didn't bother me but when at the top, even getting like 20 feet away from the edge, my knees started to shake.

Hi Guys !
I am a new S2000 owner (just bought it yesterday ;-)) and I saw the S2000 Yosemite meet. This sounds fun.
What's the plan for the trip ? We drive there, do some hikes and drive back ?
BTW, it takes some time for this car to sink into my brain ... it's so different from anything that I've driven before. It's a fascinating car.
It would be fun to meet some of the Bay Area S2000 owners.
