Yellow S2K..too high profile in Bay Area?

Yellow S2K..too high profile in Bay Area?
I would like to purchase a yellow S2000. I do have some concern. Is it too high profile? catch too much attentions? I am worried that the car will be vandalized since it is too eye catching.
What do you guys think? especially the ones who own a yellow S2K....
advice pls...

i'll repost my response to your thread in S2000 Talk...
I live in SF.
I own a yellow S2K.
The car is VERY high profile. Is it "too" high profile? That's hard to know - depends on your personality I guess.
It catches a lot of attention. Too much attention? Again, depends on your personality.
The car has never been vandalized - but I have a garage and don't leave it parked places where it is likely to be f**ked with.
The one downside is that the car truly is "ticket-me yellow". There is NO way a cop is going to just miss you. I've been shadowed by cops for some serious distances (record to date is from Colma to 85 on 280).

actually, I'm surprised I don't get more attention than I do... I thought it would be more high profile... But you know...in the land where everyone has either a BMW, Lexus, Porsche, or Mercedes...how high of a profile do you think a honda can get?

It does catch a lot of attention. In my opinion more than Boxsters and 911s. There are just way too many Boxsters and 911s up here 
Sorry, Porsche owners! Maybe in two years there will be as many S2ks as there are Boxsters right now.
But I still think that Mazda RX-7 has nicer styling than the S2000.. And it is 7 years old! Yes, another Mazda RX-7 fan!
