Yellow S2000 at Thunderhill on Sunday?
Anyone recognize this guy?
Here's a bit of video of the yellow S2000 that was running in the B group and joined the C group for the last few sessions.

Brings back good memories of Thunderhill. What car was the owner of this video driving? He just pulled past everyone on the straight like they were standing still Anyway, the yellow is probably Dum Dum Head. I think he said he was going to Thunderhill this weekend.

HAHAHA! I remember that. That was a 996 Turbo with a wicked sounding exhaust. It was the only time I was passed the whole day, and the subaru wagon was holding me up so I couldn't follow the Porsche. I know I could have kept up with him since I think I was faster in the turns. He did have lots of power though. Would have been very fun anyways. Beautiful car, just needs be in yellow. Damn, wish I had forced induction too...
Yeah, I signed up and asked for C group, and was told I would be put in there, but they still stuck me in B group...bastards. The first session was a waste since I was WAY faster than the rest of that group. After that first session, they put me in C group and that was the first time I had driven the entire track. Almost went off going over the hill on turn 9.
Me and my auto-x buddies had great fun tearing up the track. I have to reinforce this point, autocrossers make the best road racers.
Did you guys notice the videos I posted from laguna and t-hill in both the Racing and Photo forums?

Uhhh...it's too bad then that we didn't have some open track so we could see who was faster in the turns.
I was taking it easy during that session while Ted

There were some very, very 'creative' lines being driven, even on the East loop, by folks(*cough* black SupraTT *cough*) who were obviously trying to drive at a faster pace than they had during the rest of the day.
Thanks for the offer, but don't knock yourself out posting the vid of me. I've got a few of those laying around from the last time I was at Buttonwillow.
Cheers.
