wtb. throttle cable

mine broke right after class today .. sucks


checked honda, can't have it til next friday.

maybe you can buy either a bicycle brake cable or a few feet of bulk cable from OSH for a quick tempoary fix.

 

Have you tried San Leandro Honda? They should be able to get parts quickly, they have a mail order business. Same goes for Majestic Honda in New Hampshire, although you'd pay a lot more for shipping...

thanks guys for your input. my car is freakin stuck in the ghetto and i just added 2 sets of locks on my professors while i wait for my friends dolly.

well i'm planning to probably just tow it out of there now and wait til the new cable comes next fri.

i don't know how it broke. it was one of the freak things. just taking a turn and it broke from the connection to the pedal. not gunning it maybe even 5-10% throttle.

what my freakin luck. i lost a hundred bucks yesterday and i barely found out today and my car can't move more than 1 mile an hour because a stupid throttle cable.

i'd lend you mine, but i'm drive by wire... i know how you feel... i'm a poor nursing student too...

 

this thread is worthless without pics. that sucks tho, good luck finding a throttle cable and whatnot.
