My NFR '07 w/ 48k miles is always forsale for the right offer. Very clean, always been all stock and well maintained, feel free to PM if you have difficulty finding something you like.

Just one FYI for you - @ a dealership you're paying tax on the sale price, if you go private party the final bill of sale can be whatever you and the party agree to fill it in as.

You're forgetting the "usage fee" that dmv charges to change the title. Granted theres ways to get around it, but don't think buying used means that it's tax free...

A 2004 w/ 45k miles popped up for $15.5k, I think he'll let it go for $15k.

He said it's a clean title but there was an accident. Wouldn't tell me where it was though.

Looks clean. If you don't mind the accident, get it inspected and check for the VIN stickers for clues:

His story was he purchased this one a few months ago and now just purchased a red 2006. Take that as you will. I'd probably skip it if it's front-end damage (which it looks like it is)...

There is also another yellow 2004 for sale in San Francisco w/ 37k miles for $15,000. There is minor damage to the rear bumper/fender and the front bumper is a bit scratched up too:

hmm thanks, he didnt even bother replying to me

ive looked at the one in SF, turns out it was salvaged in florida when i carfaxed it but he has a clean title here, all vins intact, original front bumper was repainted, no signs of accidents other than those minor damage listed, maybe it was stripped and put back together over here?

Yes - hood and front bumper doesn't look to be lining up. More gap than normal?
For some reason the picture of the front of that hood looks like its sticking up
I'm not sure if its the angle, but the fender and hood don't look like they're aligned as well.
Also the left fender looks to be slightly buckled and the bottom right vent cover from the bumper is missing.
If you do go to look at the car, as the others have stated; check for the VIN in these locations:

There are 10 VIN stickers total:
4 under the hood: 1 on each fender, 1 on the underside of hood, 1 on the front bumper that can be seen when the hood is open
4 for the door area (2 in each door well: 1 on the door frame, 1 on the door itself)
2 in the trunk: 1 on the underside of trunk lid, 1 on the rear bumper that can be seen when the trunk is open

Hope this helps.

Here's some pics of how the lines look from the factory for comparison:

thanks for the help! it did look a little off but i couldnt put my finger on it and was naively hoping it was just the pictures, now it looks much more obvious

Trust me, you do NOT want a car that rocks frame damage. As is this car already eats tires and has rather sharp handling characteristics. Frame damage will make everything even worse, if not ruin the whole driving character. The only salvage worth buying is if only the seats were stolen, and it got totaled for that, and only that.

frame damage usually leads to salvage right? unless it wasnt reported to insurance?
