Default WTB: 99 EK manual tranny help!

well my commuters tranny decided to crap out yesterday. So that being said i know this is a s2k forum but what da heck i figured i'd ask to see if any of you guys know anyone that's has a mint condition tranny for my 99 EK (manual). Please pm me or point where i can locate one thanks guys!

is this for single over or dual over ? try calling Japan parts Ltd, in south city SF. ask for Frank. they usually have Sohc in stock for part.

^ i'm pretty sure it's a sohc. thanks for the heads up i'll give them a call.

being that this is my commuter i just want something affordable.

I have a civic type r tranny with LSD. The only down side is that the syncros would have to be replaced.

Type R tranny won't fit. Those are for B series engines.

What up Will. Where's this daily driver!? what happened to the tranny? not shifting?

Oh snap, thas right keep forgetting its d series. Well if your looking for a used tranny, I still have my old tranny from my d16 as well.

^ how much you looking to get for the d16 tranny?? Assuming this would work with my stock d16 block.

hey terrance!

i got a 99 ek that i drive around now. The shifter's been dying on me and finally it gave up on me the other day. Just looking for the cheapest route as far as getting a new tranny. You know anyone selling one??

maybe if you also go to the norcal for sale section
