I would think so, they do alot of suspension work as well as brake work. So my guess is yes. I would call them and ask for Kevin he is the S2K guy at the shop.

Does anyone know if a body shop really HAS to repaint adjacent panels to make the paint match?
No, they do not have to do it. IF they're really good. When I had some work done on my Silverstone at Rainbow Autobody in Hayward, they did just the panel that was bad, and the match is perfect. Of course, the guys there know and love S2K's and the guy who did the color match is a perfectionist. I defy anyone to tell where the paint has been redone. But most shops know they can't do that good a job on color matching, so they do it the easy way -- they repaint the adjacent panels and blend it in.

If that is true, it is still a gamble. The factory in Japan DOES NOT paint each S2000 or each Honda Per say, to be exactly the same tone and shade(color). I have seen darker Silverstone Metallic and of course lighter just as an example. It is better just to take it to a body shop that specializes in Japanese automobile repair. They tend to be more experienced in color matching typical cars like Hondas and use the paint that is appropriate for the fix!

I had JUST my fender repainted, perfect match. I think lower end shops do all three because they cant make a perfect match. It's called blending. Find someone who knows how to paint.

P. S., silverstone will look like crap if not done properly. Take the extra time to locate a high end import facilitly, they will have alignment capabilities also. Crussel obviously has found a shop as good as mine.

I would hope so. And CRussel wasn't the one with a bad shop -- I was ecstatic with the job mine did on a bumper. Perfect match. (And I worked for 10 years in the paint shop of a Toyota plant -- I know good paint jobs.)
