Hi Warren,
Yea just got it replaced this morning... went to the place the ins people suggested... Cresent Glass on the El in SC
The work was fine and my deductable was only $120 but the charge to the ins company was $851
Its simply amazing how much better it is now that i can SEE out the windshield.

I have no idea if the quality is any better or not... i'm not sure it would make that much difference... At this point i figure its just another wear item like the brake pads and that it will need periodic replacment.
