Default Window Tinting Recommendation

Around SJ / Los Gatos?

Not for an S2000--how dark can I go on the driver/passenger windows without attracting too much attention from police? What's a good ratio of front to rear opacity?

Also, I DO NOT want the sheat to bubble up in a year or two--not looking for the cheapest deal....looking for quality work.

I actually have my front tinted and my sides are clear. I'm planning on getting the fronts matched soon.

Auto Mall Tint Specialist

www.automalltintspecialist.com

they do great work and have a wide variety of high quality tint films.
check out their website for photos of work they've done.

i'd say you could probably get away with 80% transmittable light tint in the front.

I went to Extreme Tint and Polish off of San Thomas near Central Expressway.
It was either $180 or $200 (i can't remember) to do my rear, rear quarters, and doors in my Prelude. I did Limo tint in the back three and the lowest tint (highest visibility) in the doors so I wouldn't get in trouble. They did a great job and were half the price of Mr. Tint or most other places I called around to.

Unfortunately less than a year later I got pulled over on 5 by some bitchy cop at 9a on my way to LA... she gave me a fix-it ticket for my windows and I had to have the door tint removed. Went back to the same place, it cost me $20

I considered tinting my S for about five minutes and than just realized that I'm top down in nice weather, and at night, frankly, I prefer having my rear window clear due to the already terrible blind spots.
I'll just invest the money in more sunglasses or something, haha

I'm getting mine done by Vincent tomorrow.
All the work I've seen from him looks fantastic.
