At this point, this is a S2000 only event because of the time scheduling aspect of this. If we can't get enough cars, then maybe we will open it up, but obviously it takes a lot more time to tint a WRX wagon.

Nothing darker than 35%... is what I have heard. Sport Compact Car even wrote an article a while back saying 35% was okay.
But every cop I ask says anything on the sides (the back 2 doors on a 4 door are exception) is illegal. But all you need to do is swap plates on your friends S2000 with non tinted windows and pay the $10 fix it ticket. The amount of tickets you get versus the savings from thigh and hand burns more than makes up for it.
