Plan it (anywhere) and I be DOWN!
they have jetski rentals but it's limited to 50 mph. i think last time it was about 750 total for a boat that fits around 15-20 ppl and 2 jetskiis. i think a tank of gas can last quite awhile.

if you've never been to lake berryessa, i would very recommend the trip. 2+ hrs getting there from the bay but i hear it's rated one of top cleanest lake. i almost drowned one time (while having my lifeguard thing on ) and i swallowed some water; one of the finest tasting water
Lakes imo are the nastiest things to be swimming in. It's just a collection pool. At least an ocean or a river has a start and it runs somewhere to an end. A lake just sits there. Crap grows in it, birds shit in it, people piss in it etc. It's soo not clean near the shore but as you get further out it "looks cleaner" but that's probably because it gets deeper so you can't see all the stuff on the floorbed of the lake as easily.
I was just at Lake Berryessa on Sunday jetskiing. Rentals were $350 a jetski, and gas for the jetski will last you 4 hours. They charge like $4-5/gal. For 2 jetskis that we rented for the day and used maybe half tank on each, gas was $120. I would rather jetski in the ocean or something or go somewhere where the water is crystal clear and blue!
After I went home, I showered like a mofo to scrub all that shiz off and I didn't even swim. Just got splashed from the jetski.

ocean is cold and salty and burns my eyes, but great waves! lake berryessa has though algae eater or something on the bottom so all the crap from fishes gets recycled hahaha. the lake had no big tide so we used the boat's waves as it propelled to catch some decent air.
