I just got back from a trip up to reno over the weekend, and we rented the 12 seated van. I guess its from heartz, but either way it handle the snow condition pretty well. I was up at northstar and the snow was pretty firm. Can't wait to get back up there!

As long as it's a trip on the weekend and I'm not the only n00b in the group, I'll rent and drive (corporate policy with hertz and budget includes insurance, woohooo! And a bonus, I'm from wisconsin, it's rare that I am NOT driving in snow). I don't know how much our corporate rates are here in CA, but I rented a Minivan and drove from Chicago for .. $300 some bucks (1 week rental). Plus I have a shit ton of coupons thanks to SCCA membership if someone needs them (free rental day with 2 day rental, etc.) Or if you have a AAA membership, that's handy too.

The last time I went boarding was high school... then I sold the board for parts. Hey... my guitar had the same fate.

Christina, let me know. I just set up a cabin for a few friends of mine this weekend (Rate for a 3 bedroom + loft/2 bath was $175/wkend nt). I'm sure I can talk her down cheaper the 2nd time around. It was located on the south shore of tahoe.
