Default Who wants to be a Bay Area Community Organizer

With the New Year, I feel that now is a good time for me to step down as Community Organizer for the Bay Area and allow someone else to take over the reins. I can't keep all the fun to myself .

If you would like to be considered for the position, please state your desire to do so. If you would like to nominate someone, also feel free to do so. Ideally I'd like to see two people assume the responsibility. One from the South Bay and another from either SF or the North Bay, as our northern brethrens are often underrepresented. I will leave this thread open until Wednesday night. At that time, I will create a poll/s to select the next CO's.

I wouldn't mind becoming a C/O for the SF/North Bay. However I would probably also vote for Joey because most of our weekly meets are at his Tuesday Shop Nights (which I regularly attend every week) and he is just plain old. (in regards to the s2k scene, that is.. ) I am still trying to setup another Baker Beach S2Ki BBQ, that I hosted 2 years ago (for those that remember) but I will talk with Vu, or one of the future C/O's, about that once I figure out a date that works best with all.

Is there an assistant c/o for the SF/North Bay? I'm down for it as I need to log some community service and volunteer hours. Looking to earn that Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, one of my new years resolution.

I guess because it was more or less out of the blue. You said something a few years ago but didn't hear anything this time

From a southbay's point of perspective, the most qualified person I see from past experiences/meets for the role would be no other than Mr.Mac Daddy Durrrtee Boi (macr88).
